I specialize in architectural and landscape photography, shooting a variety of national and state parks, cities, buildings, and lighting projects. My career and experience as an architectural lighting designer has immensely influenced my photography as I carefully consider how best to capture the light of any environment, natural or man-made.

About My Gear
I have been a Nikon shooter for the last 8 years, currently I use a D500 body in DX format and pair it with three different Sigma lenses: 8-16mm, 17-50mm, and 18-300mm. To round out my kit I use a Manfrotto BeFree tripod and Hoya lens filters. I find shooting with a smaller format camera and a relatively small lens kit allows for easier portability both into the deep woods and around an architectural project. The D500 is an outstanding camera for low-light performance and tack sharp images with its advanced autofocus system. Print sizes up to 30"x40" can easily be accommodated and look clean and sharp on the wall.
